A Quick Note...

At best, our blogging of new arrivals has been unimpressive! Truth be told we have no excuse, its so simple and easily one of the best ways to archive our most treasured items...in our defense we have been busy little bees...besides our shopping adventures from Brooklyn to Mexico, we have had the best two months ever!! So many thanks to all who have visited our store/blog/website, we love what we do and are grateful that you appreciate our heartfelt efforts. New Arrival - Huge Antique Books!!!

This hands down one of the best things we've had at E T C E T E R A S! These giant books are about 30 x 20!! They are bound archive volumes of the New York Times. Each volume covers half a month of newspaper and we have dates ranging from 1920s to 1950s. Their massive scale alone is impressive! We've been having so much fun imagining fabulous ways to use them...stacking about 20 of them under a piece of glass would make a stunning coffee table!!! We have about 100 books priced $95 each.

We just brought in a bunch of things salvaged from an old industrial wharehouse. The industrial cart is the real deal, not some reproduction! It would make a great coffee table or display space in a retail store. It is priced at $495.

Swooning in Antique Suzani Heaven

We've just brought in a gorgeous collection of antique suzani textiles from Uzbekistan. As you might know, suzanis are fabulous embroidered blankets, wall hangings, table covers....we are going to be making some of them into throws, pillows, and duvets. So lovely!!
